This truck does double duty, not only in the Expendables movie, but also in West Coast Custom's show. It's a 55 Ford F-100 that WCC rebuilt for Silvester Stallone. The kit is the Monogram 1/24 55 pickup.

First job was to chop the roof 3mm, which also required lengthening the top 2mm. i added a piece of thick styrene to lengthen it. it was then puttied over.
vents in the hood are styrene tube, careful drilling enabled the tube to sit at 90° to the edge. The door trims are redesigned and were filed flat and rebuilt from styrene. These were painted grey and black and flocked the stripes. new floor mats were made and painted grey, then i put the stallone logo (SS) on them, and flocked them.

I sourced new wheels, which are Aoshima L162 (club linea) rims, painted black centers. the rims were wider than the tires, so i narrowed them by cutting 2mm from the rear rims. The grille was different, so was the Ford logo on the tailgate, which it turns out are 56 F100 items. i took them from my 56 wreck, the first time i've had to restore a rusty old part for a new project!

The tray needed wheel tubs, which were made from styrene sheet, and cut about 3mm out of each side.
Suspension was modified to lower and narrow to suit. for the fronts, i cut the k frame so it could fit between the frame rails. the rear was lowered by cutting out the cross member and turning it upside-down. the axle was upside down too, lowering it further. The ends of the axle were shortened to narrow it, the blocks were then cut to narrow the axle more.

it looks fantastic.
