Mad Max Mack

Postby Wozza » Sun Jul 18, 2010 1:13 am

Hi all I am new to this forum and a fan of the Mad Max vehicles, the ones I've seen on this forum are great, it's good to see other vehicles other than the black
Falcon interceptor which I am a big fan of as you can see.

The Mack & tanker was a big project for me (I'm lucky too make one model a year) and I can see why there are not too many model Macks made from this movie.
Armed with a blu-ray version of MadMax 2 & fifty odd screen shots the build was on.
The Mack was made with two kits and about ten months to do, I have that build on photobucket .

The tanker was scratch build with resin wheels and axels and this is the build.

and this is the finished model

Thats a very impressive rig, wozza. i've never seen anyone go to the trouble of replicating the rear of a HR holden just to make it that little bit more accurate. lots of other nice details. btw, the outside shots look the best.

Thank's everyone for making feel welcome to The Parts Box forum.
To answer bodgybro no I don't have access a flowjet, work as a CC router and a 30 & 45 watt lasers which do come in handy for cutting things out.

Cheers all and thank's again
