Grease (movie) - White Lightning

This is the revell 48 ford convertable kit. i've recessed the rear license plate and removed the front bumper (including valance). decals are Bare Metal Foil which was a painful exercise to apply.



also pictured is 'Greasy Lightning', the 'before' car. it suffered damage from a leaking can of paint stripper. doors had to be replaced with aluminium ones. rust and dirt is painted weathering.

i haven't seen any kits of the red grease lightning car in 1/25. seen a few in diecast 1/18... it might look a bit big next to these two, besides being extremely ugly. i will do the mercury tho.
