2 Fast 2 Furious: Slap Jack's Supra

here's the final shots of slapjack's car. it's a tamiya 93 supra, with handbuilt bodykit, rear wing and i added the mesh slots and clear hood. decals are from AMT 2 fast slapjack supra, as are some of the dress up parts and the LHD dash.

next is paul's skyline. bodgey, it's not on the roof, its on the woodbox.

i couldn't work out what the number plate is actually in the movie. it's florida plate like the others, but can't read it unfortunately.

From the first photo, i'd be guessing 'NCO 265', although there's a lot of variation in letter/number combinations with Florida plates. The first three digits aren't necessarily letters, and the last three aren't necessarily numbers. :(

Best i could do. :D

i've got the version of the book with the red mitsubishi on the cover. there are many shots of the supra, but the only one of the rear is through the back window. i've found a few rear shots, but either the plate is missing or blurred beyond usable.

I found a few with a back to the future style plate. like the chrome barcode version.
I also found that the actual car that did the jump and crashed into the sign (pepsi?) was sold, rebuilt and then sold as the movie car.

Another good one AM.
Long time since I saw this movie. I have a box set of all 4 so I must sit down & have a marathon.

What you need to do tho zen, is watch them in story board order not production order.
Which would be 1, 2, 4, 3 except for the big glaring fact that there is an 08 STi in 4. which is set before 3 but 3 has much earlier cars (350Z) so the continuity advisor needs his head bashed in for such a stupid stupid mistake.
I for 1, would love to be a continuity advisor, it is honestly, my dream job.
But alas... I am just as the local radio station calls me, a movie nerd
